Fine and unusual open face, minute repeater pocket watch presented to His Excellency, to the Count, The Rear Admiral Nikolay Orlov. For valour and bravery shown at the battle of Tushima, 1905. Presented on 15-12-1906. The battle of Tushima being a devastating defeat for the Russian Imperial Navy. Heavy silver case containing a frosted gilt movement with minute repeater. Running, but chimes are inconsistent. 52mm. VGC.
