"Medallic Illustrations of the History of Great Britain and Ireland", a British Museum work by H.A. Gruber being 19 volumes/folders with cloth ties. Each volume contains a series of loose leaf sheets illustrated and with descriptive text, a total of 183 plates, and covering examples of medallions from Edward III to George II, all images full size. This is the original work of 1904-1915 and not the two volume reprint by Spink & Son. Some covers etc a little soiled as it has been a working reference, 1 cloth tie AF. £150-200
